Spa or HOME Spa?

It is commonly understood that spa days and treatments are very important to health and well-being - but how many people actually take the time to pamper themselves? Whether it is the pressure of work, family, finances physical insecurities or just an unwillingness to spa in public, few of us get the chance to take a regular day off to seclude ourselves in a health spa. However, with the advent of high quality, cheaper home spas we can all have our own slice of relaxation heaven in the privacy of our own homes whenever we want. A home spa is economical to run - look for Eco-friendly Spas for particularly cost effective models - and that bubbling water is always available for you at the end of that hard, taxing day to help you unwind and destress.

Spa health and hot tub safety

Spas have for a long time been proven to provide health benefits through hydrotherapeutic massage, relaxation and stress reduction, and pain relief, with the added benefit of being a wonderful asset and social 'event' for family and friends in the home and garden.
The UK spa and hot tub industry is experiencing substantial growth in sales. With growing public demands for improved lifestyle and leisure, this trend will continue, which is why it is so important to get good quality advice before you purchase your spa or hot tub. But, it doesn't stop there: you must also ensure you set it up and maintain it correctly with the right hot tub and spa chemicals for continued safety of your spa.

Siting your spa hot tub

The location of your spa or hot tub in your garden is vitally important. Things to consider include ground, trees and aesthetics. Let me explain: as the hot tub or spa will weigh a substantial amount when full of water (and people!) it is essential that the ground is able to accept the weight. A builder or your installer will be able to advise on this, but suffice to say you do not want to suddenly have your decking or ground collapse or subside when you are enjoying a relaxing soak in your prize hot tub! Furthermore, overhanging trees will pose a huge problem to you as falling leaves and falling insects will spoil your enjoyment of your new spa. Either cut down the offending trees or think about re-siting your spa. Aesthetics come into play when you think about the layout of your garden. Your new spa or hot tub will take up a fair amount of space so you need to think about the plan and how the eye flows down the garden from the house. quality spas and hot tubs

Purchasing a quality spa or hot tub is essential. But at the same time, you MUST buy what suits you and your budget. Is a free-standing hot tub better for you or would you like a sunken spa? Planning in moving home and wanting to take it with you? then you need a moveable one.... unless you are planning on leaving it to add value to your home. Hadn't considered that? A quality spa or hot tub, correctly sited within your garden will ADD VALUE to your home and make a sale more likely. It doesn't take much for prospective purchasers to imagine themselves reclining in the luxury of a hot tub or spa after a hard day at work.
